Today is my birthday but nobody with me I’m alone and sad đ
Today is my birthday. Itâs a day that is supposed to be filled with laughter, warm hugs, and the voices of people who care about me. But instead, I find myself sitting alone in a quiet room, surrounded by silence that feels heavier than ever. The clock keeps ticking, reminding me that time is passing, yet nothing feels special about this day.
I woke up this morning hoping for something different. Maybe a message, a call, or even a small surprise. I checked my phone more times than I can count, but it stayed stillâno notifications, no âhappy birthday,â no signs that anyone remembered. It hurts more than I expected. Not because I need big celebrations, but because I wished someone would simply care enough to remember.
The world outside continues as usual. People are busy with their lives, laughing, working, and sharing moments together. Meanwhile, I sit here feeling invisible, like my existence doesnât matter today. Itâs a strange feelingâbeing surrounded by a world full of people, yet feeling completely alone inside.

I tried to distract myself. I watched videos, scrolled through social media, and even thought about treating myself to something nice. But the emptiness doesnât go away easily. Every smile I see online reminds me of what I donât have today. Every happy post feels like a quiet reminder that Iâm missing something important.
Birthdays are not just about cake or gifts. They are about connection. They are about feeling seen, valued, and loved. And today, I feel like Iâm missing all of that. Itâs hard not to question myselfâdid I drift away from people? Did I expect too much? Or is this just one of those days life throws at us to test our strength?
Even though I feel sad, a small part of me is still holding on. Maybe this moment is teaching me something. Maybe itâs reminding me that I need to be there for myself when no one else is. Itâs not easy, but Iâm trying to believe that my worth isnât defined by who shows up or who remembers.
So today, even if no one else celebrates me, I will try to celebrate myself in small ways. I will remind myself that I made it through another year, that Iâm still here, still breathing, still growing. Maybe Iâll light a candle, make a wish, and hope that next year will be different.
Because deep inside, I know this sadness wonât last forever. One day, Iâll look back at this birthday and remember how strong I was, even when I felt completely alone. And maybe, just maybe, better daysâand better birthdaysâare waiting for me ahead. đâ¨
