We publish quickly and we are not infallible. When we are wrong, this is what happens.
Telling us
Email moensoken@gmail.com with the article address and what is wrong. You do not need to prove anything formally — tell us what you know and we will check it.
What we do
- We aim to respond within two working days.
- If a factual error is confirmed, we correct it within 24 hours of confirming it.
- A correction notice is added at the foot of the article stating what was wrong, what it now says, and the date. We do not quietly edit an error away.
- If the error was in the headline, or serious enough that a reader may have been misled, the notice goes at the top of the article.
- If an article cannot be corrected — because its central claim was unsupported — we remove it and say so.
If you are the subject of an article
If you are named in a story and believe it is inaccurate or unfair, write to moensokean@gmail.com. We will look at it promptly, and we will tell you what we decide either way.
Removal
We do not remove accurate, properly sourced reporting on request. We do remove material that is inaccurate, unverified, or published in breach of the standards above.
