Teddy the Golden Retriever headlines another month of skits, and this roundup pulls together AGuyAndAGolden’s funniest dog videos from April into one sitting. If you’ve seen clips from this channel pop up on your feed all month, this is where they all live together.
Teddy is the familiar face here — expressive, food-motivated, and always ready to react on cue for the camera. One moment finds him sitting on the couch mid-chew, giving the kind of wide-eyed, open-mouthed look that’s become his trademark.
What kind of skits are in this one?
The compilation leans into everyday setups turned into bits. One skit plays on tax season, with Teddy propped at a kitchen counter next to a true-crime themed box labeled “Unsolved Mysteries” while his owner reaches across the counter, setting up a joke about dreading tax day. It’s the same mix of deadpan timing and prop comedy that’s made this channel’s golden retriever skits spread around the internet in the first place.
Is Teddy the only dog in the video?
No. April’s roundup also includes a shaggy, light-colored dog with a scruffier coat than Teddy’s smooth golden look, caught in a close-up shot with his nose nearly touching the camera. It’s a nice change of pace from the usual Teddy-centered format, suggesting a guest appearance or a different household in the mix.
Why do these videos go viral?
Part of it is Teddy’s face — he reacts like he understands exactly what’s being asked of him, which is what pet comedy thrives on. Part of it is the format: short, punchy setups with a clear joke, dressed up with props like the “Unsolved Mysteries” box, that are easy to watch and easy to share.
This compilation is a good entry point if you’re new to the channel, or a quick way to catch up if you missed any of April’s individual clips.
